The UK office for national statistics has reported that “in January 2021, 24% of the UK population is now working from home”. Due to this, we have adapted our services accordingly and can now offer our Group Workshop and Level 1 induction remotely. The Level 2 assessment can be conducted at the employee’s home in a COVID safe environment with temperature checks and PPE.

On entering the treatment room:

  • The patient will sit on the available chair.
  • The therapist will conduct the subjective and objective assessment as clinically appropriate – minimising patient contact where possible.
  • The therapist will treat as clinically appropriate.
  • Pillowcases will not be in use, only wipe clean plastic pillows.
  • No blankets or soft treatment couch covers will be used. Any towels used will be washed between client uses at 90 degrees.

Ergonomic Services

A training schedule & a list of attendees will be provided for your records. Individual assessments will also receive certificates of training

GROUP ERGONOMIC WORKSHOP/PRESENTATION (1 HOUR) - BESPOKE STAFF BOOKINGS AVAILABLE DEPENDENT ON STAFFING NEEDS

This workshop/presentation will provide an essential overview of workstation ergonomics. It will include key aspects of a standard workstation and how they can be modified to help reduce the risk of postural symptoms. This includes Display Screen Equipment (DSE) use.

LEVEL 1 - INDIVIDUAL DSE / ERGONOMIC WORKSTATION INTRODUCTION (20 MINS)

A practical introduction with your employee at their workstation/desk. This will provide them with essential knowledge of their display screen equipment to ensure they are using it appropriately.

IDEAL FOR A NEW EMPLOYEE

LEVEL 2 INDIVIDUAL DSE / ERGONOMIC WORKSTATION ASSESSMENT (45 MINS)

An in-depth workstation assessment designed to improve the working environment for the user who may have a current/prior musculoskeletal complaint. This will include a detailed report of the assessment and any changes that have been made or equipment that has recommended.

IDEAL FOR SOMEONE SUFFERING FROM A MUSCULOSKELETAL COMPLAINT

TELEPHONE FOLLOW UP ASSESSMENT (10 MINS) - FREE OF CHARGE FOLLOWING A LEVEL 2 ASSESSMENT

A quick follow up after your Level 2 assessment to review progress. If required equipment needs can be discussed and with approval ordered.

INDIVIDUAL DRIVER/VEHICLE ASSESSMENT (30 MINS)

An in-depth assessment where a driver will be observed accessing/sitting/leaving their work vehicle. Their issues will be discussed to try and identify possible influencing factors. Advice is given, changes are made. Report included. 

IDEAL FOR WORKERS THAT SPEND OVER 30% OF THEIR WEEK IN THEIR CAR
